Default ls on the spray vs ls turbo

i have a 91 integra with a greddy sp2 exhaust racing heart cr's and tein basic suspension. i enjoy my car alot but frankly the stock old ls motor is getting old and with only so much money im not sure what to do. i have 3 options i could go ls turbo not replacing many parts or i could put it on the spray replacing the pistons and putin a new head gasket in , and of course i could just go ls vtech for now and do other things later,what do u think?

That is such a retarded thing to say. I would go with boost. Nitrous is a waste of money. For all the money you will be spending on refilling the bottles, you could have a turbo kit. And you would make more power. Also, it's LS/VTEC not vtech... You WILL get flamed for that by people on here.

I'm going to have to say turbo as well. But it sounds like your seals and stuff need replacing, so I would take care of the maintenance first before you try to force a bunch of air down your tired, old engine's throat.

how much is a bottle re-fill? $30-40 bucks. you are not going to use every day. nitrous is not a waste of money. it is a good way to get a lot of power for cheap. If setup properly and properly maintained, his engine could last a long time

Racing Heart = Racing Hart
vtech = VTEC

How much money do you want to spend, and how long do you want your motor to last?

Me and my friends had nitrous. When you have it, you want to spray all the time. You go through a good bottle a week. That is alot of money, if you add it up.

we used to go through bottles in much less than that .

save the crap and go turbo. i had a full bad *** nx wet kit 3/4 installed on my car and i ditched it for turbo. all i can remember thinking was that if my car on the 50 shot would have been as fast as it was on 6psi i would have been really pissed.

you can turn turbo off too, its called dont drive around with the pedal on the floor. it you dont give the throttle position, you wont boost. (setup dependant, but mainly true)

you know, you can make a fun car w/o induction. try a light rebuild, and while you're at it get the head worked a little and an aftermarket valvetrain, and get some nice cams. search on 'em, there's lots of info on some good options. you'll spend a lot less, and it's still a blast to drive. okay, not earth-shattering speed, but really. it's a honda. it's never going to go that fast, anyways. if you have ur suspension worked out and a good backroad, you just need enough power to have a little zoom zoom between corners, eh? LS/LS (duh!) =

iwould say **** both and save up for a type r motor... ive had both N20 and boost.. they both can **** your motor up and for waht u spend on both u can have a r motor... to do boost u need a kit, tuning devices ect and it sounds like u have high miles.. the turbo will demolish that motor soon

if you dont have alot of cash, i think either is a bad idea. they are both abusive, id say save up for a new motor or maybe less costly mods like cams or something.

im sure that a an ls motor with raised compresson and some crower 403 or 404's among other bolt ons could definately hold its own against many other swapped non forced induction cars

Haha, you can't be serious? An R motor with bolt-ons and cams would own an allmotor ls anyday.
