Default Installed my Advanced Chassis Innovations lower tie bar

Just installed my new ACI lower tie bar. Looks great & the install was simple (just out with the old lca bolts & in with the new + the bar). Took about an hour because the LCA bolts are a bitch to get out w/ just hand tools.. that & my girlfriend wanted to help with the install since she picked out the color when I ordered online! I haven't had a chance to drive yet, but wanted to post up some pix anyway..

If you plan to match the tie bar with a sway bar then you gotta let the guys at ACI know you have a BSQ or Beaks kit & they will send some spacers & washers.

to ACI.. great products & fast shipping!

yeah...so how much did you pay for the set up and where did you get it from? Thinking about selling my current set up and either going with that or the comptech lower sway/tie combo

i got a deal on the tie bar for $59 shipped..(i think they are usually $70) & there is no extra charge for spacers or to get the black powdercoat which is great. shipping was really fast.. like 4 days from southern cali to delaware. install was just 14mm? socket wrench & a lot of wd40 to get the factory lca bolts out and then a 17mm socket for the new bolts. i didn't have any problems with the lca's moving when i took the bolts out, so the insall was very easy. i took her out and it handles great.. i was surprised i actually noticed a difference since my suspension is pretty stiff already, but as far as hard turns i don't even move in my seat. the car stays so straight and smooth.. i love it! thats a skunk2 sway bar btw, which i recently installed and noticed a huge difference in handling, but the tie bar is nice as well.

Did you feel a nice power gain over stock j/w, because now i am running a OEM exhaust intead of skunk and it feels like i lost big. So now i am really thinking about exmag. Does if have any sway bar clearance fitment w/ the exmag rear section??

um.. we'll i had the 5zigen catback which is a straight thru design, where the exmag is chambered. but i actually felt a power gain when i put the exmag on.. the piping diameter is larger so maybe that is it.. as far as fitment.. there are no problems.. it goes over the axle and my car sits pretty low and has never bottomed out.

my install was a pain in the ***. (not enough patience with the lca bolts i guess)
looks good with the sway bar btw.
