I did surch but after 9 pages still didn't find the answer I was needing. I now the CL and TL type-s sway bars are bigger then our stock ones and bolt right up. BUT are the standard CL and TL sways any bigger then are stock or is it just the type-s ones that are bigger?


The reason I ask this is because I found a set of TL/CL sways for really cheap and if there bigger I'll get them. If not hten I will keep looking for the type-s ones.

 

they're different.. (rear) the regular cl/tl are 15mm, the type-s models are 19mm

the front swaybars are the same size for all models..

 

So the front sway bars are the same on the TL/CL and TL/CL type-s, but bigger then the accord. And the rear on the TL/CL is slightly bigger then the one on the accord. But the TL/CL type-s is alot bigger tehn our stock one correct?

 

yeah.. i think the front is 1mm bigger on the tl/cl's.. accord's run 26.5mm while tl/cl's run 27.?mm

the rear, the accords are bigger at 16mm for the sedan and 17mm for the coupes..

i would leave the front alone with the stock one and just purchase the rear tl-s bar. upgrading the front and rear will reduce roll but maintain the same cornering characteristics.. increasing just the rear bar will reduce some understeer and improve handling to some extent..

 

Thanks, I justed checked and I think its for the TL type-s. It said the bar was 18mm. So that would be an increase over my stock. Not looking for much just a little. The guy is selling them as a set I was planning on only doing the rear and probably selling the front off.
