after bolting my wastegate on my manifold i noticed that the wastegate is making contact w/ a runner on my full race style mani. the UFO looking part of my tial 38mm touches one of the runners.
Will this be a problem?

ok, i can prolly have the wastegate flange changed to make it fit better.
this is not my mani but its made by the same guy.

you see how the curved pipe goes to the wastegate? my is the same except it curves toward the passenger side. thats where my wastegate makes contact with the #3 (or #2 ) runner.
does that make a little more sense?

I would definately have an elbow welded on (like in the pic above)...
If you have ever taken apart a wastegate you will know that there is a rubber diaphram inside that could melt and cause it to fail if it got too hot...
You might not have any problems .... but then again you might, I wouldn't risk it...
