WTB... REAL DC5 R or silvia S15 SPEC R.
I am looking to buy one of these. i want out of the whole modifying of imports and just want a little more rare of a car to just drive.
I want it in mint condition and if its not here in the states then i want to know if there is a way to get it here. I have been trying to import one for about 6 months now and had no luck on finding a good importer. I have cash.
Any info on where i can pick one up at please let me know.
Thanks.

Check out evolutionimports.com I don't exactly know the full details but you can try. I belive they have one used DC5-R in orlando but you can also get them new with LHD conversions. I tried to contact them before but never could so good luck.
good luck bro... legalizing an S15 will cost you heaps. The car alone will run you about $20k, plus legalization fee's you might as well save yourself some money and hassle and buy an Evo 8 or STI
You cannot legalize a s15 for road use, unless of course, you are willing to bring over multiple s15's and have them all crash tested, among 12783972183 other things

Yeah you can, it just takes LOTS of money and getting it done through an importer/legalizer such as motorex. How do you think they get Skylines to be street legal?

Because THEY did exactly what I just said, crash tested a lot of them, among a TON of other things to get them on the DOT/NHSTA's Vehicles Eligiable for Importation list. Motorex takes all credit on getting the skyline on that list. Call Motorex and ask them to get you a legalized s15, they will tell you it cant be done unless you do the same thing they had to do for the skyline.

I stand corrected, thanks for clearing that up.
