Default Appropriate Rim size vs. weight

the stock 15'' wheels on an integra weigh ~15lbs i believe.

would 16's make for a better drive?

Some 16' Rota Circuit's would weigh like 15 lbs each vs. the stock rim weight of 15 lbs for the 15' stock rims.

would the up to a 16 inch rim make for better track times and/or handling?

BTW i was conisdering Enkei rims before i found out that those suckers weigh up to 28lbs!

i believe the bigger rims you have the slower you go because it takes longer for the tire to turn correct me if I am wrong

Um, no. Wheel and tire together determine the total diameter.

195/55 15
205/45 16
205/40 17

Those will all give you very close to the same diameter. If you keep the diameter the same, only the weight difference will effect acceleration.

If u want more grip for better track times I would go with a 15 or 16 inch rim that weighs less than 15 I have a 15" rim that weighs 12lbs...keep in mind that the larger the rim the lower the profile on the tire and makes for a less flexable sidewall which in turn equals less grip from launch and a more uncomfortable ride not to mention tire noise... If i were you I would stick with a lightweight 15 or 16 inch rim
