okay ive done the lowering springs.. i want lower!
hey guys,
ive done some searching and im still relatively a newbie to the suspension area..
i've dropped my ek about 2" with lowering springs and i have 15" rota slipstreams.
i want the tire-to-fender gap to nearly rub or tuck under.. how could i acheive this?
i dont want to use coil-overs as over here the require certifying which is another cost. i've heard koni's can lower your car an extra 25-30mm.. is this good enough?
also, when the wheel is tucked under the guard what happens to the turning capabilty? will it rub..?
can someone help out a newbie?
thanks..

Yes, you will quite possibly rub if you continue to drop it lower. It depends on what tires you run and how wide they are. The Koni yellows (don't know about the other shocks) have a lower perch you can sit the shocks on.
if you want to go lower.. your choices are to either get a new set of springs that are shorter than what you have right now.. or get adjustable shocks.. or get a set of coilovers..
and yes.. you can rub the guards if you lower your car too much..
if your tires are just tucked under the fender slightly.. then you shouldnt have a problem with rubbing the guard..
