sup guys, was coming home from new years eve party from ontario, on the 91 freeway going about 75, then.....a loud noise came from under the hood and i pulled over, and looked on the road there was a oil streak from when i pulled over to where I stopped, oil was pouring from the passenger side, tried moving the car, it would move slowly then made a clicking noise so stop the car and got it towed can anyone tell me what happed i heard it could be a oil gallery seal, but just wanted to see if anyone had the same situation and what happened thanks guys

don't know for sure it could be?. hoping so or some kind of seal, also hoping there is no gear damage or any kind internal damage

 

Sounds like your axle popped out , I have had it happen on an old civic before, Any chance you were trying to get some smoke out of your tires in second . If you only drove it for a little bit it will probably be okay, the tranny that is , The axle will most likely have to be replaced since the splines on the end have been taken off. Or if the axles look fine , check for a hole in the tranny case caused by flying debris inside the case
