Default Cams with a Supercharger - Exhaust?

I know that Crower makes cams specifically for use with forced induction, but what would be the downfall of using Crower 62403's with a JR Supercharger? I know that there is an overlap issue with these cams and forced induction, but can this be tuned out with cam gears?

Currently I am running a B18B with an ITR cat back. It is 2-1/4" in diameter. How much will this hurt a JR Supercharger install? I have read that 2-1/4" diameter is good up to 200 HP, but is that hold true for forced induction?

about the first part with the cams, im not to sure bout that.. so BUMP for that one..

second part. that diameter might be good for 200hp.. but you have to remember, if you have an ITR exhaust, the muffler is restrictive.. with all the sound deadening restrictive pieces inside. you'd want a straight through design

the diameter will dictate the hp. 2.5" will net up to 250. 3." will net you higher.

about the cams. going with anything but stock is worthless as the jrsc's are setup for stockcams. noow if you were pushing f/i of about 10+ psi then cams might be a good idea, but that lil black box that comes with the jrsc kiy is tuned for stock applications and a jrsc won't push more than 6-7 psi so i wouldn't waste my money, ls and gsr cams are pretty mild cams to begin with anyway. gsr cams, while i know you aren't running vtec have the most un-noticeable transition from primary lobe to vtec lobe as they were designed for smooth all around power

Right now I already have the 62403's installed. By adding the supercharger to my existing setup, how much of my boost would be lost due to the longer overlap of the cams? Woudl it be so much that it would be a waste? I have done some searching on this and what I am finding is that it shouldn't be too bad.

Can you tell me a little more about the black box that is included with the JR kit? I have read that it isn't worth a crap if you are not stock, so what would be a good alternative?

Thanks.

ITR exhaust is 2.36" Try getting a Hondata setup if you want something better than Jackson Racing's black box.

ok since i have been dealing with superchargers for years now, i can there are cams that do cut over lap and are designed to run with boost. for example on an 8v VW they have a 268/260 cam, 268 intake lift and 260 exhaust lift. so when it comes to superchargers if you can get your intake lift to be a little higher than exhaust it helps the over lapping but there are also cams for them that work just fine. again on an 8v VW a 260, 262, and 270 lift call work well with superchargers.

possible to eliminate over lapping, i guess but it'd probably mean custom ground cams and that gets to be alot of money, but the gain out weighs the loss when it comes to putting cams in a supercharged car...
