Default ls vtec.............no start

like the title says i have a problem starting my car it cranks but hardly and i need ne kind of input at this time. i just swapped this motor into my car and of course it won't start(always something) my timing is correct double triple checked(but timing wasn't correct athe first couple days i tried starting it so i went by process of elimination to figure out that was one of my problems) i changed my cap and i have good spark from the coil and the spark plug wires.i have a aftermarket link sys ECU(integra link ECU) tat won't communicate with a scan tool(it did before but didn't the last time i hooked it up) i have the grounds connected on the thermostat housing . i have plenty of fuel getting into the cylinders. Triple checked the firing order .All good there.when i crank the motor it acts like it wants to kick then goes dead and the Voltage drops to 8.7 (almost sounds like a bad battery)ive tried to jump it with another car and ive charged the **** out of the battery(the cranking sound goes like this ....dah dah dah bleh... dah dah dah bleh ...dah dah dah bleh)like a dead spot or something. i have at least 145 plus all across in compression . when i diconnect the coil from the cap the car spins over freely when cranking no dead spot . (weird)someone told me to check th esensors on the manny so i did went thru all the wiring and everyhtnig seems to be ok (btw the car just had almost the same motor in it and i had no problem)it's an ls vtec

try replacing the battery for one thing, the cells might be bad, and if that doesn't work then definitely recheck the grounds. i couldn't start my car for the longest time due to a bad ground

do u have ur coolant temp sensor plugged in....make sure....that would keep the motor from starting as well.

my girls car wasnt starting for the longest time and noticed the wire was a little broken on the tw(water/coolant) sensor...so a quick fix and voila....started right up and ran like a champ
