It's quite an original idea. I dont think anyone's thought of this one yet?

I have WS and it's great. Not ws2 but ws2 is better because it's all stainless.

It's a great choice. Very quiet, as to keep those cops at bay, but there's still performance from it. It's also a lot cheaper than other exhausts on the market.

The WS series is amazing. I have one on my accord and love it.

I had a high flow cat with my WS II for a little bit, sounded like a fartcan with the silencer in.

is that good or bad? I have a Maxspeed muffler and custom piping now, it sounds deep, but when I hit about 3.5-4k its starts to sound kinda raspy.

I didnt like the increase in sound, but its still very quiet in comparison to other exhausts on the market. However, you'll always get a raspy noise, no matter what exhaust you use, if you have no cat.

I had a 95 Integra with no cat and a greddy SP, wasn't raspy at all, really deep and really loud. It was quieter then my accord though.

Yeah, damn those 1.8L engines... I unbolted my friends exhaust at the axle, and it just sounded deep and low. I did the same thing to my stock exhaust at the track, and my car was loud as hell.

piping on WS2 is still mild steel, but the coating is thicker and even more rust-resistant...ive heard of some clearance issues with the WS2 on lowered cars...

Nice that you cleaned up your comment there

However, even on the WS2, only the muffler is stainless. The actual piping is just coated by a purpleish titanium coating.

The clearance issues must be more prominent on the 6th gens or something, because I've never had any problems with my exhaust over speed bumps or anything. Even on my driveway, which is at an extreme 45-50 degree angle, I could make it up just fine, although I had to ascend it diagonally.

Eibach pro-kit.. about 1.2". The exhaust didn't sit too much lower than the stock one. Although when a car is low enough, anything will scrape.

I guess i'm wrong! Damn ads make it sound better than it is

I agree with the clearance issues even on the WS1.

My car's lowered 1.25" on jackson racing springs and it looks like my exhaust pipe is falling off. It freaked me out when I came home from college and hadnt seen it in a few months!

My car is lowered almost 3 inches with H&R race springs. My custom piping rarely scrapes, should I just get a nice muffler added to my custom piping?

I'd go with magnaflow, that's what's going on my project civic. Kteller piping+magnaflow is the projected outcome. It's stainless steel and straight through. Figure out what magnaflow muffler fits you and then go on ebay, look up seller 'performancepeddler', they hav ea store. Ask them to put up the item for sale. I got the 90 some dollar muffler for 59 shipped.
