I think the plug that i have is either missing a few wires or they have been switched.

i have a wire diagram that says


looking at the back of the radio

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20

2 = yel/red (( ACC main stereo power supply))
5 = red/yel (( right rear speaker +))
6 = blu/yel (( left rear speaker+ ))
7= red/grn (( right front door speaker + right tweeter + ))
8= BLU (( Left front door speaker + left tweeter +))
9= red/blk (( light-on-signal ))
10= wht/blu ((constant power ))
15 = brn/wht (( right rear speaker - ))
16 = gry/wht ((left rear speaker - ))
17 = brn/blk (( right front door speaker - left tweater - ))
18 = gry/blk (( left front door speaker - left tweeter - ))
19 = RED (( Dash lights brightness controller ))
20 = BLACK (( ground ( G501 )

1,3,4,11,12,13 and 14 NOT USED


this is all off the diagram that i have in had. ( dont have a scanner so i can not scan it )

Radio is out of a 1999 civic i woudl assume since it says OCT 99 on the back of the raido..

After looking at it are the wires on backwards or what? i hoooked up the 10 to constant power
2 to c0nstant power
9 to constant power

20 to ground


to see if the radio would turn on . but it doesn't .. i even put the black antenna wire in the back of the radio to get a ground on there .. but still it don't turn on.. any help would be greatly apprecatied
