Default K20 in a DA??

Has anyone swapped a k20 in a da integra before.

I already have a da but, its currently getting boosted with a greddy kit.

BUT,
A friend offerd to sell me his integra da shell for 50 bucks. looks a lot like the one i have.
but i want to swap a k20 in it. Has any one done it before, is it even possible.
Im planning to do an all motor set up. want to add some itb for sure .

btw here is a pic of my project car.
the one im planning to get looks just like it, has no rims though.

i think i read on G2IC that hasport is planning on doing DA k20 mounts in the future. i'd give them a call on monday and see what they say. i hope you go through with this and post lots of pics during the process.

i heard that the k-series is lighter than the b-series so you would be lightening the car with the swap!

you can't put a H22 in a DA w/o some cutting. And there are no kits for the swap. But if they come out w/ a K20 mount kit, that might be interesting. Maybe after my B18C gets old i'll have another option since now only option is B series.

if ur wondering if u can do a k20 in a da then YES BUT!! theres alout of custom work to be done on that .. i have that car as well. i think if i remember rigt you need to reduew your front end...like.. the guys at ETDracing are putting in a k20 in a new integra and thats already a bitch we had to remount the shifter and lots of other work will have to be.. dont.. but if you want to know for sure.. e-mail them at ETDRacing.com... they are good...
