Santa came a little late. I guess he had to stop and get cash.

I finally picked up my new tow-behind bedroom this afternoon. It's a new 24-foot Interstate, 10,000 lb GVW bedroom on wheels with blingin' LED taillights. Oh.. it also carries my car.
No pictures of the actual trailer (too dark out), but it's similar to this one, but white. I'll be camping at the track now. No more money for fancy hotel rooms.

I think trailer camping is a much-neglected option. A couple of folding cots, some lights, charcoal cooker, and you are set. WAY better than a tent, particularly in the rainy corner of the country.
Most of you are too young to have seen it but Westwood (aka "Wetwood") in BC was notorious for soaking race weekend camping. At a kart race once, we just made big tarp envelopes and sealed ourselves in, with the open ends - and our damp heads - pointing downhill in the paddock...

Funny how in this hobby, purchasing one luxury (blingin' trailer) leaves you unable to afford a different luxury (hotel rooms).
Congrats on the trailer. One day I too will have one. Got to justify owning that Excursion somehow after all...

Just curious, where'd you get your trailer at? It looks similar to the one my dad and I picked up this past summer, ours is only 20' though
I've only used it for a few autoxs so far (haven't been to a track day since we got it) but my dad has used it at several bike rallies and says it is A LOT better than staying in a tent. He just bought a futon, that way at night he can sleep on it, then during the day pull it out and you got a nice couch to sit on.

Also when you stop to remember that whenever John shows up to a track it starts raining.

When do we get to see the pics of the real trailer?</TD></TR></TABLE>
It's currently stuffed on the side of my house between the garage and my neighbor's house. Not sure how well it'll photograph in there, but I'll see what I can do. My neighbors will think I'm crazy if I pull it out just to take pictures of it. I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

They do now. I went ahead and pulled it out front, and of course, the neighbors were out. That's okay though since it gives me more practice backing it in. The rear loading lights should help when it's dark.
