Question about insurance increase from 94 4Dr Civic to 95 Integra LS coupe
I was playing around on ice about a week ago and ended up putting my Civic in a ditch. I damaged the rear quarter panel and the hood, and I haven't been given a quote yet by the body shop. I should get a quote on it on Monday, but the body shop has already said that the costs may be high enough that the insurance company totals my car. If my car is totaled then I'm seriously thinking about getting a 95-95 Integra LS Coupe. I don't know how to drive stick yet, as neither of my parents know how and I haven't taken the time to let my friends teach me. Therefor, I'd be getting an automatic Integra. I'm 18 and have one speeding ticket on my record. I'm currently insured by Farm Bureau, and I pay about $1700 a year to insure the Civic. How large of an increase would I be looking at to insure an Integra?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Ok first you need to call your insurance agent...after you have completed this go to a abandoned parking lot and practice driving stick bring your mother and father as well. Then after you do that come back and log on to Honda-tech and start posting questions about your car if they have any problems or what not.
I guess since I don't know how to drive stick I simply don't deserve to drive at all. Thanks for your wonderful advice!
