Weight of USDM ITR Seats?
Hmm...I suppose somebody had to have weighed them out of curiousity installing aftermarket seats. Bathroom scale, anybody?
If not, I'll just take the 20-25 lb. estimate.
Good weight savings if I were to put in $1500 MOMO Kevlar seats, 7lbs!

What about the Mugen S1? For as much as they cost they better be light!
What about the Recaro SP-G? (Pole Position) << those are nice.

I was thinking more along the lines of a non-reclinable seat, like the Sparco Speed. Inexpensive, about 15 lbs, not your lightest seat, but functional. If I want to recline, I would just use any other car or my Dad's Maxima.
**** it, I'm young and the ITR is rough enough for my back [I kinda like it] , seems odd that they would even bother to have a reclinable seat in such a race bred car.

Yoshi, I can afford A Mugen S1 [no plural] as of now. I'm going on strike in front of the Mugen building, and I don't even work there, lol.
Looks like the "REV C" is the lightest among Sparcos, only 9.8 Lbs

I think Willard posted some pics of Garth's seats. They are quite nice, to say the least
Unfortunately, my 5'11", 180lb frame don't fit too well
And yes, Torinos are heavy. *Much* heavier than stock. But they feel so nice (with the right bracket, that is
)

If you guys are looking for light adjustable seats, try a set out of an FD3S. The set I had had a fiberglas shell and were very damn light. Never weighed them though. comfy as hell too.

Stock seats are right around 29 LBS.
Aftermarket seats arent that much less...remember usually the rail weight isnt included in the seat weight.
