I need to know some way to get the inside light on the glove box to go off when I am going downhill at night I can see it and it makes me go crazy does anyone know how to take the ground wire out and unistall it? So it wont shine? Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks.

 

Install a switch or remove the bulb.

 

There was a thread like this last time about tightening the latch, so the light doesn't turn on. But i don't know where the latch is

 

call your acura dealer. they have a fix/service bulletin for it. It is a common problem on teggies as well as the late year legends. it looks like a lil condom that goes on the push pin that triggers the light. If you go by the acura deaelr you'll see what it is. and you can pick one up at a hardware store off of the end of a plastic pole they sell for your window shades.

I asked my local hardware guy if they sold anything like it and he just took one off the plastic pole and said here ya go.

Is there some way to remove the glove box to get to the light where are the screws and or bolts located? Post a instructional guide on how to remove bolt its virtually impossible to get to it right now with that huge plastic part bolted down the light escaped threw that hole. I dont want to just break the bulb thats white trash! I want to remove with care. Planning on putting touch screen DVD around glove box area.

 

You just have to remove the screws along the hinge at the bottom and it will lift out.

 

pisses me off all the time. But my glovebox fell out, wtf.

 

I think I can get the main light to go off but I'm also thinking about going DVD for glovebox replacement!
