yep it bolts on and plugs in just fine, you will be surprised how much bigger the LS TB is over the D16s...they are cheap too.

no i dont have pics yet. the software turned up missing for my digital camera so i have to buy it again. i have seen your car once before about a week ago. mine got backed into by an expedition so i havent driven it in a while. its fixed now though just not painted yet. the tb i have is off a 95 ls. will it still work even though my car is obdII? i just dont know if they added more sensors or something to it. what kind of gains am i looking out of this tb?

got the tb on yesterday. i can tell a pretty good difference over stock. it feels stronger on the low end. i would recomend this to anyone if you can get it for pretty cheap. i got mine for free, so thats free power for me free stuff is awsome

i did this on my d16a6 buti had to drill the holes out a bit.

 

when i put my 96 LS TB on my 95 Si it made a large difference.

 

How can slapping on a larger TB make a large difference....the flow still bottlenecks at the IM port because it has a smaller cross sectional area than does the TB. You would need to port match the Intake Manifold and use the LS gasket in order to get the full effect.

madtownhonda can u tell me how much difference it will make then? cuz i found a 92 ls tb and im considering putting it on my 00 d16y8... or should i put something else like a newer ls or gsr or itr even?

 

i got my tb from a 95 ls, so a 92 should be the same. i put it on my d16y8 and it fit perfectly, no drilling or anything. all the sensors plugged up and everything. the only difference is on the ls tb there is an extra vacuum line on the top that the civic doesnt have, so i just left it unconnected. i dont believe my im is bottlenecked, but im not sure ill check and if it is ill bore it out to match the size of the ls tb. i used the ls gasket too.

 

cjames235-so u want to race when it dries up outside. since i have the only non-vtec b16 in memphis.

does anyone know the size of the opening on the ls throttle bodies.

I was just wonder how large it would be compare to like a "B&K" or other bored out throttle bodies.

its 61mm, and i did port match my IM with the TB when i did it. a dremil, a 6-pack and a hour of my time.
