Went to the dyno today

Were thinking that my IAB were not opening causing that off the scale rich spot. If anyone knows what to do or where to find them please post some picts or something. thanks.

im having that exact same problem, in the same spot. although my vacuum canister is busted, so mine are always open. we'll see if a new one fixes the problem. they said the canister not holding a vacuum was causing it to dip rich right after vtec. but ill find out if it fixes the problem after its replaced.
i want it fixed asap, so ill keep you updated. and if you find out what was wrong with yours, post as well
btw, are you using a p72?

yea the numbers are OK.. but not good... there is a big problem here i think its to do with the IAB but maby not.... we ran 8 times on the dyno burning a new chip everytime and it still didnt get it right.... we took 30% fuel out of the 5200-6200 range and still off the scale rich..... I need some help here.....
well open the hood, have some one rev the car, and watch for the secondary diaphram to disengauge and then reengauge once the revs fall
you should be tuning using a romulator, then burn a chip wehn your done.
you obviously have to much fuel,
and what kind of widebna dwas this, was it a tailpipe sniffer or was it in the downpipe?
edit: also who is doing the tuning on this car, 12.5:1 is a little leaner than i would run in full boost, do you know what your top end timing is set at>

if the IABs fail they will be stuck OPEN.

well if the canister breaks and there is no vacuum then they would be open all the time, unless they are stuck closed...but what if it holds vacuum the whole time, then it would stay closed...
quick test. go outside and have some one start your car, you should see them close. then pull the vacuum hose then should open back up again. if they don't move then make sure you can open and close them by hand. as long that they work by hand, (stays open all the time, only closes when you push against the spring) then its easy, if they are stuck closed we'll address that.
if they work, but the canister is broke, just run a vacuum line from the itm to it...this is my own thought here, i haven't had a chance to test on the dyno...but, holding them closed till xxxx rpms for low end power works great on na engines, but your turbo'd which is pushing a whole lot more air and likes to breathe. when your just putting around the line you put on it will keep them closed, the second you floor it they open up.

Numbers are ok, but i also think you should be getting more power with your setup. Good luck and nice setup

yes, but the trim is still not known... there is not a lot of talk about t3/t04e trims when it comes to h22a's.. i have a 57 trim right behind me so i was just curious..
are yoiu using a b-series BIN file? the VTEC comes in late. or maybe your using a BIN for a 3 bar map sensor? that would really screw things up (i think)... or maybe it's not scaled for those injectors?
Scrap the bin your using now and start off with something else. I'd be affraid of ring wash with a a/f like that..
and maybe pay attention to fuel pressure the next time around.

Exactly. You better get that tuned out bud, or not spend too much time in that rev range.
And don't be scared at how much fuel you're taking out; just make sure your O2 sensor you're tuning by is in good shape, and then tune it till the a/f curve shapes up.

i found my IAB box.. it was in the bottom of my tool box... There for it was not workign correctly when i went to the dyno... i also took a run wth and without a vac line pluged up to the IAB plunger..... so it looks like the IAB isnt the problem...
