ok, so i went out and got some new bits. got it drilled, then used a bolt extractor to get it out, but it was in there so tight that the bolt extractor snapped in half. so now i'm in even of a bigger problem. if anyone has ran into this problem before or has any ideas of how to get this thing out please do reply.

i had that problem with a cam cap bolt last spring. i ended up just drilling out the hole and all and helicoiling it, it wasn't really that hard. but in your case being the head studs have way more torque when installed you can't just helicoil it. you'd have to take it to a machine shop and let them do what they can. i dont' remember what it's called that they can do, but therin lies your problem: the motor is still in the car so you can't exactly just haul it down there. i wish i could be more help, but i don't know what else to tell you

i broke an extractor b4... on a cam cap.. and that thing is not drillable. don't even try, even with the strongest drill bit. Yr only chance is the machine shop, dont try doing it yrself anymore.
BTW, how did they break a headstud? Did they use the air gun to overtighten it? if u can somehow get the headstud out, i would check to see if yr head and block is warped.
