I'll be in Huntington Beach in about a month just for the weekend, Any Hotspots, Track events, or shops to check out in the area? Feb 15-17th. I will have a car (not my R) so I can get around alittle. Sorry for the off topic but I figure my R friends wouldn't steer me wrong.
Thanks Mattj

Huntington Beach is kinda dead IMO. You might want to head north a bit.
I was just in LA for the holidays staying in Marina Del Rey with my sis. LA is lots of fun even for just car watching. In the 5 days I was there I saw:
1. Ferrari 360 Modena convertible
2. Tons of top dollar domestic SUVs (including HumVees) with 22-23" rims
3. Mercedes G50s <---these are really cool
4. Pagnani Zonda
If you're in LA - most of the shops will be on the outskirts of the city. SP Engineering is a great shop - but it's in an industrial part of LA.
IMO I wouldn't spend my time down there going to car shops.

matt, if u can drive around a bit, check out Shine Street in carson. the guy there used to work for 5Zigen so he got some good chit there. maybe u'll even get lucky n catch one of the jdm cars there
i happen to catch the guy that owns the white RX7 from F&F chillin over there. nice guy and hella sweet car
next time i come out in april for import auto salon i'll make sure to remember to post for a meet
Check out Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa. Take the 405 south from Huntington and the harbor exit. Make a right. If you head south on Harbor towards the beach a few blocks before you deadend into Newport Boulevard you should hit an exotic car dealer. It should be on your right and is diagonally across from Norm's restaurant. The last time I drove by they had 2 Lotus Esprits and an Elise, a Lamborgini Diablo, Saleen supercar, Carrera Turbo plus mucho other models.
Dude Matt!!
There is NO way you're gonna be here in socal and escape spending some time throwin drinks back w/ me!!
