where do you find insurance compianes that insure LS GSR and R all in the same catorgorybecuase i heard it could be done please help or I going to have to sell the R and I dont want to do that

I've been quote as low as $2100 initially, but after several months into the policy, two insurance companies have decided to raise my premium based on the classification of the car. Yet they succeed in overlooking this minor detail during my initial quote

 

The insurance company that charges LS rates for a Type R is going to buy you an LS when your Type R gets stolen


Rates suck on Type R's, period. Investigate what you can do to lower rates. Shop around for quotes. Having higher deductables will help lower your rates, but can bite you on the *** in return. Buy a beater car and insure your R as a pleasure car. Take out a life insurance policy and see if you get a multiple line discount...
