Depends on your goals. Do you want to stay N/A or go forced induction?

With the A2 there is plenty of gains to be made. If you are going to stay N/A then go with the basic bolt ons first. Cold Air Intake, Header and exhaust. I understand that a company called Gruppe M (or something like that) makes a really nice CAI for UKDM EP3's. I am not familiar with the UK emissions laws, but if you don't have a catalytic converter, or if you can do without it go with a race header. There are several good ones out there, but with a RHD car I don't know if there will be fitment issues.

After you do the basic bolt ons look at getting new cams. Toda has a kit that consists of cams, and valve springs that I have heard makes good power.

yeah man. the a2 is the same as our rsx-s motor. and they're 160 something to the wheels. so the rsx-s guys should have plenty of ideas for you. check out what they have done to their motors and what they like and don't like. what he said up top is the way to go with n/a. and ecu reflash.

well for a $2000 budget, start out getting some kind of air intake syestem. whether it be a cai, sri, or even just a k&n filter. you can find used ones on for around $80. second, i would suggest a fully programable ecu such as hondata k-pro and pay a couple hundred bucks to get it dyno tuned. you'd be surprised on how much useable power you can get from a dyno tuning session with relatively few modifications. hondata also has a varitety of ecu "flashes" but if you plan on going further, a k-pro is well worth it. if you have any money left, you can mess around with you exhaust system from the header back. get a dyno baseline reading to see what your at stock and then after each mod go back and see how much you've gained or in some cases lost and at what point you start gaining and losing power. once that is figured out and you have a programable ecu, they can tune you accordingly. hope this helped out.
