you mean "CAN it be repaired", not "it CAN be repaired" the way your topic is, it sounds like you're saying "it CAN be repaired"...which it can...

what bearing spun? Main or rod?

why don't you just drop an H22? not too expensive and more power than an H23 rebuild for $ to get the same thing...

is their a lip or sharp edge to the journal that the bearing spun on?

if there is ANY scoring ont he crank then you are looking into buying a new crank or getting the one you have turned down and then micro polished, if you have the machine shop around

i have seen much worse, but if you caught it in time and the journals is not badly scored and gouged, then it can be fixed

edit: also it looks like the rod may have cracked part of the block, what damage did it do to the cylinder??


if you have to have the cylinders all bored because of damage, and then replace all the bearing, and then also have the crank machines and micro polished, plus the cost of new rings and gaskets, it probably would be cheaper to try and find a h22 long block and then just re use your h23 transmission

the rod damage the block and the piston the cylinder wall

the block is very damage

and the BRIDGE, BEARING CAP is broken

i have a new CRANKSHAFT

but i don not is i fix the block or a buy i used block
new is to much price
