I installed my J's racing intake today and once the install was complete i've been getting 2 codes. One is for the IAT which I had drilled and hole in the J's racing intake and installed and the other is code 71 which is misfire in cylinder 1.

Any idea what the problem might be. Should i get another IAT?

 

btw its a d16y8 if that makes any difference

 

check your IAT to make sure you did not pull any wires while reinstalling it.
reset the ecu and see if the codes resurface.

I have no clue as to why the intake would cause you to misfire.....

I'm an idiot. I turned it on once before I installed the IAT and forgot to reset the ecu once it was installed.
