Test drove s2000 last night
I had to see how one drove so I thought id check it out.. I have owned 2 maitas and a del sol before.. My current Honda is a 02 civic LX for the drive to work..
The car is very nice, and it felt cool on the turns.. But I dunno, it kind of felt like my maita driving around town.. it was a hella a lot faster when you got on it.. but I could never drive it everyday well not for the price would have to be a weekend car..
So I desided to test drive the new 2 door accord.. WOW now I could drive that car everyday.. hehe.. I know its not has fast but it sure felt faster and more enjoyable in town driving yup yup..

i drive my s everyday.. and i'm in the dc metro area (in the top 5 worst traffic in the nation).... and i'm fine with it... even without being in vtec it's a joy to drive..
My CL-S feels faster than my wife's S2000, but when we raced them at commerce drag strip it was obvious it wasnt...i think its just people's opinions are usually "It doesnt feel fast" when their used to cars with more torque lower in the powerband...i even felt myself it felt sluggish but after driving it more and more, seeing where its good to drive the car, i realized just how that car should be driven to really feel good about the power it does have, and where it comes in...

yeah i feel the same way, maybe cus i'm not use to it yet...my 94 teg ls feels "faster" than the my S...maybe its cus the "S" is so much smoother throughout the powerband...
but i would rather be driving the "S" every minute of the day

everyone says the s doesn't feel fast.. even to me.. it doesn't feel fast. but then i look at the speedo and i'm like oh ****..... i need to slow down.....
i think it's cause it's geared very well, and it's very smooth between gears.. it's also build very well, and with usually all small cars you don't really feel the actual speed of it.... and because it's so compact and the car vertually fits you... it give you an illusion.... and besides it's not really fast.. it's more quick and agile more then anything.....
the words my buddy used to describe my car..(keep in mind he's a domestic guy) "your s feels like a crouch rocket on 4 wheels... "

haha, I said the same thing the first time I drove my buddies MY00 about 2 years ago. It feels and sounds (at 9k) like a bike on 4 wheels. Out of all of the cars I've driven, I think the s2k is the all around best. Sure it doesn't have any power on the low end but that is something you sacrifice by having a 2l motor with good gas mileage.
