Then why are you worried? Don't make a new post saying how you street raced, got caught, then bitch about how you **might** get caught .

I was in a similar situation a few years ago.

I was racing, and a cop flew by me coming the opposite direction. He flipped a bitch, and my friends blocked for me basically and i pretty much ran. (I know...I was younger and less mature)..

Regardless, I parked on some back *** road and he found me like 8 mins later or so, but I drove a black civic at the time. Silver rims, and an exhaust and it was late night, and no streetlights.

When we got to court, he basically lied his *** off because the judge told him that if he lost direct line of sight with the car, that he couldnt prove it was actually me. I mean seriously..black civics? Not like those are an extinct vehicle if you know what i mean..they are a dime a dozen. I actually had all the guys that I know drive black civics meet up one night and took a picture of them all lined up. Then I took a picture of each one individually. I showed him a picture of someone elses car, and asked him if he could positively identify that car as being mine, and he said yes. I proved that the car wasnt mine by taking a picture of my car next to the one he "identified" as mine, and I basically proved that there was no way at 2 am that him coming the other way could have for sure knew it was the same vehicle he saw. He had no license plate #, etc.

he lied and said that he never lost direct line of sight w/ my car, and the judge pretty much always sides w/ the cops, so i got the ticket still.


I would tell your friend to just do what he normally does. THey cant PROVE it was him.

So u didn't get caught racing, but u got caught speeding.

I think if u really get caught for street racing, or reckless driving.. depending on what state u in, u will most likely to be taking a cab home... and good luck on getting ur car back.

I know a couple kids who got busted for sreet racing in BC and they got their cars impounded, $2000 fine, and I believe a suspension of their licneses for 2-4 years.

 

I was caught racing the 4th of July....before I turned 18....me and my buddy were racing off a stoplight in our gsr's.......caught, pulled over...he took my keys..threatened to impound, and arrest but since my friends dad was a Police officer, the others knew him.....we got let off with a Mistameanor(Speed Contest) also known as street racing..... I was in juvenile court last month, and received no fines, no points on my record, but was put on probation for 6 months, and received 40 hours of community service

don't get me wrong.......worst choice of my life.....but hey.....some people take their mistakes, and run with them.......I stopped , and learned from it.....
