D series flywheel bolts
I read that the B series flywheel bolts are 17mm 12pt. Does anyone know if D series are the same? Just want to make sure I'm prepared when I pull my tranny on Saturday.
did this YESTERDAY. and MANY times in the past. d-series flywheel bolt heads are 12pt 17mm. same with b-series. although i dont know is the pitch on the threads is the same.
i pulled fly wheel bolts off a d16y7 auto and the bolts had AT stamped on them. pulled bolts off a d15b7 yesterday and they did not. i dont know whatn that is supposed to mean, but i thought i would throw it in
edit - clutch bolts are 12pt 10mm and torque convertor bolts are 6pt 10mm

Great info. I have alot of work ahead of me this weekend including replacing the clutch, flywheel, axles, shifter, ushings, turbo kit and I don't want anything slowing me down
Automatic flywheel bolts are smaller than manual ones so STAY AWAY from those, and yes the have AT stamped on them. I wouldnt recommend using AT flywheel bolts.
