Default Anywhere in particular good to get my hands on an h23?

I've decided to go with an h23 since i plan on turboing my car next year sometime and since an h23 should be cheaper in the first place and better suited I'd like to swap one into my S. Would the F22 tranny be ok or is the gearing too lame? I'd like to just try and find a longblock if that would work but I'll buy the whole thing if I have to.

The F22 tranny is not a direct bolt on for the H22 or H23 motor, nor do i think you can make it fit.

There was a recent post about this I think last week that may help you.

Hmm I searched and it sounds like it will with a minor modification. Still leaves me with the problem of where to buy it though

Are you looking for a JDM motor or just the USDM version?

try hmotorsonline, they have good deals on h23 longblocks

But,....if you plan on turboing it, I would just find a used longblock cheap
and rebuild it for boost.
