Default GSR intake mani butterfly valve

Tried doing a search but couldn't find anything.....

I have a B20/vtec with GSR head, i currently have the butterfly valve zip tied open......Is this a good idea? The only reason i did it is because one of my buddies said it would improve performance.

Sorry for the stupid question and thanks for all the reply's

steve

honda designed it like that for a reason.....long runners for low end power and the short runners for high end power..just leave it hooked up or you will miss out of the low end fun

if it's not hooked up, they stay open anyways

Get rid of the zip ties and clean up the engine bay
