so i have this idle that iv been trying to fix for a while , when i unplug my map sensor it goes down a bit , then when i unplug my tps sensor , it goes down to 1500 rpm, i really want to know whats causing this and can a bad iacv cause a 3 k idle? i ment 3000 rpm idle

 

have u tried the idle adjust screw, that helped me a lil bit

 

check for leaks on the tb and im.

 

i gurantee you its the iavc valve.block it off and tighten it back down if it goes away then thats it.trust me ive been through more of these parts than tires.

 

Is your tb stuck open? Throttle cable sticking? If that checks out, time to leak check with carb cleaner.

 

well i figured it out , you know the other other idle screw that is located on the tb and can only be adjesuted with a alen wrench? well i adjesuted that and now its perfect .
