i was wondering this too but i want a kinda stiff ride but nothing that is so viloent that it will toss me in the air when i hit a crack. i was thinking 500/400 is that the off the shelf rates of the gc i was wondering that also.

i say 200/300. but a lot of the ride quality is dictated by the quality of the shock

Not to thread jack, but let's say it's an average setup with Tokico Blue shocks and the GC's. I also will be doing this VERY shortly and would like to know what is recommended for street use...still looking for a sport feel though. I guess I could call them to get the answer as well.

Depends on what shock you plan on running. If you are going to run Koni Yellows/Tokico Illuminas/Blisteins, I would go with 300f/300r.
