Location for TCM for 98 accord (already searched)
Can someone tell me exactly where the TCM is located for 98 accord 4dr sedan auto tranny 2.3l
It wold be nice with a diagram and ank knowledge on how to replace it....Thanks

Look on e-bay you can sometimes find them there or http://www.car-parts.com
Make sure you get the Vin # for the car it came out of other wise it will be no good. You will need that in order to get the imobilizer programmed.

The PCM is about $600 from Honda. Are you sure its bad? You can see it under the dash, behind/below the radio from the passenger side. IT mounts to the floor under all of the AC/heater crap. You might need to pull the carpet back. I would think this part is OEM only. I wouldn't trust aftermarket. If you go the used route you might need the pn of the unit to make sure you get the exact replacement.

The PCMs in late model Accords rarely go bad. Are you trying to replace it because your transmission is acting funny?
If that's the case, you'll be changing the wrong part.
'97 and up Accord transmissions are notorious for going bad.
