Default 99' parking brake

my girlfriend has a 99' accord coupe and the parking brake light on the cluster keeps going on and off. does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, the headlights are extremely dim. They have been dim for the last few months. They are always dim, it doesn't matter if the ac is on or widows being rolled down... I suspect the altanator is going bad. does anyone have any other suggestions?

thanx

if your parking brake light keeps coming on, check your brake fluid, make sure it's not at MIN, and try to fill it to MAX, it should fix it

as for the headlights being dim, do you have a system in the car? sounds like the alternator may be going out

if the brake fluid is full and you're still having problems, try cleaning the electrical connections that are attached to the cap of the brake fluid resevoir.

my parking brake light did the same thing until i cleaned the connectors. it hasn't occured since...

as for the dimming... She doesn't have a sound system...only mods are intake headers exhuast and springs.

check your fuses first.. it's in the under hood panel..

if the fuses are still good, try unplugging the headlight harness, make sure it's clean.. apply some dielectic grease on the male connectors to keep moisture out and reconnect. your wires might be corroded..
