Car Redlines at 5000
Well it was programed right the frist time, drove it for a week and my alternater died and I changed it. after that is when it didnt let me go past 5000
I don't know a whole lot about hondata's but its sounds like the when the altenator went out that it caused the hondata to lose power or something and maybe reset itself. Whatever made it do this it sounds like it just reset itself. I don't think the altenator would do that though.
You car is running in "limp" mode.
Not sure what caused it, but my best guess would be HOndata.
Go outside and start your car, let it run for a while-see if it throws any codes.

If you have S100, take off your ecu cover and make sure the connection is snug, and if your running S200 make sure the wire connecting your blue box to your ecu is connected snugly as well...
