Brand new omnipower coilovers, yet they bounce?
hey.. heres the situation
-brand new rear omni power coilovers.
-they bounce like a champ.
the settings i have:
-ive compressed teh spring as much as i could, which isnt more than like CM because the whole unit begins to spin.
-from the bottom of the spring damper plate to the end of the threads is about 3-4inches.
what kinda changes should be made to the settings on the coilover? this is my first time using coilovers, and yes of course ive serached.

1. The damper doesn't match the spring rate, and/or
2. The damper is bottoming out on the limiter, and/or
3. The coil is binding / coil-stacking , and/or
4. Ride height set too low causing #2 and / or #3 above, and/or
5. Wrong parts fitted

they're brand new though. these mismatches, could they happen during the manufacturing process? they're for 92-00 civics.
ive got about an inch and a half between the (stock) wheel and wheelwell.

Which ones did you buy because OMNI just came out with some coilovers that are drag race coilovers with an 18k rear spring rate and that is pretty damn stiff, like most street applications have rear spring rates of only 8k or 10k, so that could definitely have to do with the bouncing.
hmmm u know i have no clue. any way to tell on the suspension itself? i bought these new off ebay. they were minty when i got them and still wrapped in the original plastic.

Depends, I think on the OMNI its a red spring and all the info on the spring is in white writing, its like 5 or 6 numbers
I would like to know some more info on this too, Mine are bouncy when driving at higway speeds. It drives me crazy!!
that was my problem.
the # on my springs are:
0178.63.5.018
and they turned out to be drag coilovers used on Titan Motorsports cars.
