I've read some of the posts here regarding the ABS light going on, although my situation is a little different than any of the others I've read about:

I have a 94 Accord EX. The ABS light used to come on intermittently. Lately, though, it comes on after driving about 1/8th mile. Even before the light comes on, the ABS doesn't work. I also noticed that the light on the cruise control doesn't come on when the button is pressed. But when the ABS light comes on, the light on the cruise control button comes on. The battery and charging system were tested recently and are all fine, and I haven't had any electrical problems (at least none that I've noticed). Any ideas?

 

i have the same problem with my 95.. before the abs light comes on.. theres this noise.. and then once the light comes on.. the noise goes away..

 

AFAIK the problem with yours is an empty ABS reservior (in the front by the battery). Try putting some DOT 3 or 4 in there and see if the noise goes away.

In my case, however, both brake fluid reserviors are full.
