Vegeta has one on his 01 R. He likes it.

W/ stock airbox, Spoon filter, stock exhaust, DC JDM and Jun 2 intake cam he made like 170-something and 129tq to the wheels.

I have it as well. Nice fitment, and lost only two whp (peak) after removing the aem and installing the stock box. FYI, this was with the lid off...

I have it...love it. Like Vader said, about two hp if that, but it feels like more. More responsive. And you get to keep the stock air box look (if your in to that).

i am happy with mine, it fits good, and is less restrictive, and you cant beat it when its free...

Just get the comptech stock replacement filter it only cost about $65.

Trust/Greddy, Spoon's are yellow.
Monster is red. But they are all same material.
Comptech is washable.

Yes you can wash the Comptech filter with a K&N kit.

I like my Spoon filter. But can we use the K&N kit to wash it and re-oil it?

I don't see why all foam filters cannot be cleaned and oiled using he same stuff...
