My idle is horrible. Sometimes the car sounds like a rotary. It fluctuates between 1,200 and 1,500. This can't be right. Any opinions on current BC3+ owners?

 

Have you had it tuned?

 

bra you got stage 3 cams what did you want to sound like a grampa mobile. duh if you got stage 3 cams your idle is gonna be pretty rough thats what makes your car mean. now deal with it or send me them cams!!!!

 

he doesnt have stage 3's he has spec 3's. Theyre not that aggresive, your idle should be fine. Dont let the #3 fool you into thinking its a race cam.

 

Mine did this as well...Until I got it tuned and now it idles almost like stock
If you have a VAFC lean it out 8% under 1500rpm and it will help alot
If you do not..get it to the dyno or take the cams out until you can

 

Frankenfiend: I bought the BC 3's knowing it wasn't a race cam. Buddy Club specifies it's a STREET cam.
