Default no spark Jdm 1G B16 crx si. Ran shut off, stuck in rain HELP!

Well i WAS leaving my gf's house my crx started fine let it warm up and i was just rolling in nuetral down the street while it idled cause i was on a hill. The car just shut off. I just bought the car and it has a brand new dizzy on it. First thing, cranks real strong. i checked the thermostat ground wiggled it around and stuff, nothin. Checked the tranny ground un bolted it and bolted it back, nothing. i unbolted the ground on the valve cover checked it out and messed with it, nothing. Puled number one plug wire off no spark at spark plug end. Pulled wire off at cap no spark from cap. I figured i can pull the cap off tomorrow and check my rotor and coil. Any other tests ot things i can check or things i should look for?

Its pouring down rain while i checked all of this and its midnight

screws there and tight. Not sure about the coil. can i use a B18a coil obd0? I might be able to test with one to see if it works after. Also would a obd1 coil work or is there mods to do?

yes a coil for a 90-91 integra will fit as well as the stock crx coil you can usually tell because inside the coil where the cap pice goes in will look burnt , i fixed one by dripping solder in that hole when my friend broke down

Yea i know how it looks burned out because i just changed the one on my Ls crx. The prob, this one is shinny gold inside still no wear around the plastic, the nipples, the cap, wires all tight on the ignitor. When i pylled the cap off i seen a TINY metal shavings from somewhere. I checked the teeth and they were fine but i mean the wear so so little i wouldnt be able to tell but the car would work fine. Im not sure at all...

Hmm well the only way i knew it was even metal was i seen one pice that was visually big enough for me to see. All the rest(pretty much none) was almost dust. WELL i changed the coil from my LS dizzy into it and still nothing. So its either a connection somewhere, ignitor, or dizzy. IT CAN be the ignitor because the way it happened so fast it just BAM off no good. An ignitor doesnt show wear its either good or its bad. So could be that....but dont know how to check but to change it and im not sure if the LS ignitor is the same anyone know

Could also be your timing belt, seriously. Mine did something similiar, though I was on the freeway. We got it back to the pad and check all fuel, distro, etc. Everything was good. Swapped with known goods from my other CRX. Still no go. Took off timing belt cover. Ohh look, two pieces!
