I believe the sensor is your thermostat (watertemp) sensor.

The tranny code no clue

 

The tranny tag is from an EX tranny, which you have an EX so you're good.

 

The sensor looks like an engine coolant temp sensor or what the dealer calls a "TW" sensor.

 

thats ur collant temperature gauge.

Well see there are two different coolant sensors under the distributor area.

One is the one I mentioned, which sends a siganl to the ECU and the other is a one wire sensor that tells the coolant guage in your cluster what temp to read out.
