my turn signal bulb has burnt out, wats the bulb number to replace it?


i went to my local pep boys and tried to look it up, it says 1157, however that is a dual filament for the usdm integra. i tried it out anyway to see if it works, and it wont fit into the socket

help please! this hyper blink is killing me!

 

You could always use this as an opportunity to move to LED which are availbale after market!

 

Did you look at the bulb you pulled out?
they sometimes have the # stamped right on the base.

 

There are two types of turn signal bulb, one has the two pins opposite each other and the other has the pins offset to each other. I replaced one of mine not so long ago and AFAICR its the one with the two pins opposite each other. However of you have a bulb with pins offset to each other then you can shave one of them down and it will still fit and lock into the holder

 

buy a regular 1156 and cut/grind(nail clipper/something that can cut small stuff) one of the protruding alumnium pin and push it in and be happy

 

i baught the wrong kinda bulb but i sanded the sides down...it fits perfectly

it blinks hella fast tho...i kinda like it like that

Watch out, I had a turn signal bulb blink double speed and got a ticket, Many years back.

 

I have 2 jdm bulbs laying around, I'll sell them to you for $50 bucks each.
