i have some what of a predicament on my hands, my car a 91 si hatch was in an accident around 2 months ago where it was parked and had a hit and run in front of my house, now i need a passenger door and new rocker panel and who knows what else. To fix all that and the rust will be 1000+. Then i found a pretty clean maroon auto dx hatch (needs brakes and has rough idle) not to far from my house that a friend of mine told me that they only wanted 500 for to get rid of it. As of now i have 2-300 dollars saved. Should i continue to save and fix the si or ****** this dx for a winter beater and somewhat daily driver?

well just drive the broken car for now until you get more money then sell the POS and buy something better. dont get the dx
