My buddy wants to pick up this piece for his Sol....and I was wondering if anybody can vouch for the quality of this brand?

Supposedly it is of a 6k weave (spoon like) 3 layers....rolled edges....pretty much the standard high quality stuff ...including a latch etc.

I personally had the Fiber Images one on my Integra and I thought it was absolutely terrible..

the edges were raw, the weave count was low, and it fit horribly....

It was good from far.....but far from good....

Can anybody vouch for the TC one?

I have one... its not a bad hood, about the same as fiber images quality wise, but its certainly no spoon, if you werent happy with the fiber images, I dont think you will be happy with the TC one either.

 

What carbon fiber hood besides Spoon has nice edges and weaving?

I got this cheap carbon fiber hood and it had raw edges and the weaving wasn"t even in certain areas.

Maybe you got a bad fiber images hood or they have gotten better because mine fits like oem and there is nothing wrong with the weave and my edges are rolled.
