Looking to get a Civic or other honda, Problem is, Will i fit in any of them?
I'm looking for a cheap car, that still has some zip to it. Thing is, I'm 6'8" 420lbs. so my choices are limited
I Currently have a 1985 VW golf 1.6l Diesel. Gets over 60mpg but has all of 51hp, and there is no way short of swaping the engine to get more HP out of it. I fit in it fine (unbolted the front seat and moved it back about 4 inches). but Its slow as crap. I can have violent drag races with garbage trucks and noone notices.
Are there any Honda Car models I would fit into comfortably?

i really dont know ive had 3 guys 1)6'2" 2)6'4" 3)6'5" in my 97 civic coupe at the same time. it was a little uncomfortable but it worked so height wouldnt be the issue. but ive seen a 5' 10" 500 lbs guy driving a cavalier so its probably possible for you to get a civic.
well i suppose i sort of do look like a troll... me vs a Security guard at ski liberty

you weigh 400 lbs?
any "fast" civic that you buy will be a lot slower due to your weight. i don't think Honda is for you, sorry.

at least with most other cars it wouldn't be that much noticeable. i mean, Honda are usually "fast" b/c they aren't that heavy, therefore less horsepower is needed to go fast. if you got into a WRX or a Neon SRT you might not notice that much of a difference with the extra weight.
if you had a fast enough Honda, with a lot of HP, then the difference wouldn't be noticeable at all.
if you just want to be comfortable

I would go with an Accord. Quick and very comfortable, I drove my Dad's 2004 Accord from GA to MA, and I was comfortable but I'm "only" 6'3", 200lb.

look up yao mings bmw in general discussion and debate forum and see what he did to it
a WRX is a bit out of my price range(and i know i definatly dont fit in them), and i really dont like neons.
... hmm... Maybe i'll just look around for an older Mustang and swap in a 460, Another 400lbs isnt gonna be much then... :D

Dude, you're a beast and I think you would be rockin' hard driving around in an EG hatch. Seriously, the 5th gen EG's have a pretty wide open front seat area. The back seat would be pretty much useless once you slide the seats all the way back, but then you can just remove the rear seats all together. Beef up the suspension a bit and it would be fun car for you to drive. Hey, and once you swap out and build the engine up for FI you are going to be flying.
(Can you imagine meeting him at the track, and having this huge guy in an EG hand your *** to you on a plate!?)
Cheers!

Actually, the best bet would be a full size truck with some sort of forced induction. The suspension is huge so your mass wouldn't throw off the vehicle's handling much and it has all kinds of utility that a Civic or other sport compact doesn't.
A Silverado extended cab with a 6.0L engine and an STS turbo kit on it should be solidly in the 14's, so I suggest that route. An SVT Lightning is another choice, although I dunno how cheap they are.
But seriously, stay away from Hondas. Torque per unit weight is what gets you down the road and that's something that Hondas severely lack.

96-00 Civic... drop a h22 in that mother. Fix up the suspension and you'll do fine. I've got some pretty BIG friends that fit in those. And I once saw some lard *** (I swear at LEAST 500 lbs) getting out of a Ek here at a local theater. He got out pretty comfortabley
lol.
lol.
i am 6'4" 315 lbs, and i drive a 97 ex coupe with a gsr swap, my car is pretty quick considering i am no featherweight and neither is my car. but the point is i fit in my civic just fine, and can even scoot the seat back far enough to where i have to stretch for the pedals
but most impotantly i love driving my car and that is what matters most, i have put 4000 miles on it this month alone.
so to the thread starter: do whatever makes you the happiest, if you can find a civic or accord or whatever you like get it.
