Huh! I have a friend with an 04 Civic SE with less than 8000 miles on it. It has been serviced at the dealer at their suggested dates and taken care of. My friend phoned me up and told me that it didn't want to start. She left it parked for 2 days, then when she got back to it, it wouldn't turn over. She said it finally started on the 7th try after she pumped her foot on the gas, but as soon as she let go of the key it died again. So finally after more tries it started and ran rough. Do you guys know what might be causing this?

 

one word WARRANTY!! take it to honda and tell them to fix it

 

It's the ignition relay.

But that doesn't matter, it's under warranty. It's Honda's problem, and your friend should get a loaner car.
