Koing Helium Ulta Light Wheels
anyone have these wheels? what size? how do u like them? what tire and size are you running??

He's talkin about wheels as in what tires go on. I have 15' bronze Heliums with 205 50 kumho ecsta supras. I really like the look. The only downside people talk about is that you can break the spokes... i hit a curb going pretty fast and bent the hell out of the rim but it didnt crack. IMO it held up great.

Theyre light and look pretty nice, but If you plan on doing any spirited/canyon/auto cross id stay away from those. Ive seen posts where people broke the spokes. Fine for street tho
BTW for 15's, 195-50-15 is a great size
I got that size on my wheels, makes the wheels look bigger, and it improved my accelleration a LOT, throws off the speedo but Ahh well

My buddy has them on his EK hatch, its silver so the bronze looks nice w/ it.... they almost look black when the rims get dirty enough. He's running some Yokes i think es100's' but they look so clean, and you can pick em up with ur pinky.

Looks similar to the Koenig wheel except this is forged and comes in around 10ibs.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah but doesn't it cost twice the price of a Helium?

Yeah that is the advantage of a Helium. It's very lightweight and very cheap. If you somehow manage to break one (don't dont how one could do this on the street) they are fairly inexpensive to replace.

How about just saying $200? It's even less keys to type. But I guess that would just be too easy for some
CRX_1.8T: What brakes are those? and what offset are the wheels?
Also, the only time I've seen problems with Heliums is from extended use on road course. And it was only after long periods of time on quite a few track events.

I have 15" heliums. With 195/45/15 toyo proxies t1s, got a good deal too mounted balanced, with hub rings for $750 shipped.
I have a GSR. Reason I want with these is because with this smaller diameter. I a fake a 4.7 final well almost. Kind of like a type R without having to do tranny work. So better accelaration and the proxies t1s are something like 16 lbs for the tire while the falken azenis are like 21 lbs. so with a 10.5 rim and a 16 lbs tire, the whole wheel weighs about 27 lbs. I like it. If you want ill post the gear ratios for the resulting 21.9 inch tire v. the oem 23 or something like that.

Nope. Helium is more of a Volk CE28 replica. Rota C8 = Mugen MF8 and C10=MF10.
