Yes, you could use one from a 4 door civic, coupe or hatch.

the 4 dr is compatible, but i believe it only came as a factory option in the 94 95 coupes/4dr

ive seen an armrest in a hb before, im pretty sure it was factory cause the rest of the car was 100% stock and the girl who owns it didnt put it in... i asked her to sell it to me but she wouldnt....it was black too
