What is the stock HP on them i believe there is only 2 motors the GSr and the non vtec. for the 2nd gen. Just curious i plan on buying one soon. I had a 98 GSR about 2 years ago and miss it alot and going with i nice clean 2nd gen this time.

stock hp. 90-91 ls/gs/rs 130 hp(b18a 1.8l non vtec). 92-93 ls/gs/rs 140 hp(b18a 1.8l non vtec[had upgraded cams/im]). 92-93 gsr 160hp(b17a 1.7 vtec).

The 90-91 models have 130 hp @6000 and 121 ftlbs (pre-obd)
The 92-93 models have 140 hp @6500 and 126 ftlbs (obd-1)
The 92-93 Gs-R models have 170 hp and 119 ftlbs

 

I'm not sure about the Gs-r but the other two are right. Now that I think about it it does have 160 hp

 

Thanx everyone for the help. I want to find a Rs or something like that and just do a LS/Vtec on it. since i already have a 98 Gsr Head from mine still.
