Default 93 Prelude Issues #2

Car not blowing any air??? The button lights on the climate control are not working either. Had previous problem with climate unit so replaced...still nothing. Checked the heater motor fuse....no problems there.... Checked all connections & no power to switch or blower motor.....could possibly be resistor or relay? If so, where are they located?

Thanks in advance.

did you check fuse 35 in the underhood fuse relay box (i'm assuming you have 4th gen so correct me if i'm wrong).

fuse #9 in the left foot kick panel (i suspect this one if the whole heater panel isn't getting power). also it supplies the power for the blower heater relay - so it's prob why that doesn't kick on.

stay warm.

p.s. duh of course you have a 4th gen - sorry i didn't read topic heh.

Nothing labeled in the kick panel as being related to the heater...but underhood was good.
I will check no.9 though, maybe mine was just labeled different & didn't catch my attention.

Thanks for the help.

yea #9 is in the underdash kick panel... it might not be labelled as "BLOWER" or something because it controls a bunch of stuff...

I guess an easier way to test if it is that fuse (then getting down low with a flashlight) - would be to check if your power mirrors work - I believe they share the same fuse.

let us know what solves it for ya.

Yeah..um...apparently when the main relay went out we were checking fuses trying to find out what was wrong with car..and the power window fuse (#9) was pulled to replace a blown 15a ecu fuse. It never got replaced.
I feel stupid, but am glad I posted here for help instead of driving up to Austin Imports. Thanks for your time and help. The diagram was also helpful...solved my ABS light problem as well.

Thanks again. Cheers.
